A celebration of the New Millennium with a meditation on the Life of Jesus Christ.

Before the advent of the printing press in the fifteenth century, the great majority of people were illiterate, so together with preaching, the wonderful story of the birth, life, death and Resurrection of Jesus was told through the medium of religious art of the great churches and places of worship. Stained Glass has been a vibrant medium over the centuries and continues today to add visual beauty and meaning to the Word of God. The images depicted in this meditation are from stained glass windows of various churches in the Garden Route area of South Africa.
