Wunderschöne Unterkunft in bester Lage mit tollen Gastgebern
Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, familiäre Atmosphäre, sehr gutes Frühstück, tolle Lage mit Blick über die Lagune von Knysna. Johan und Dirkie gaben sehr gute Tipps für Restaurants und Aktivitäten und haben den Tisch reserviert. Für uns war es ein außergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Hoogtepunt van onze Zuid Afrika reis.
Van de hele reis naar Afrika waren dit de mooiste, rustigste , fijnste vier dagen . Het vriendelijke welkom van Johan en Dirkje, niet dat overdrevene wat je vaak ziet, was zo hartverwarmend dat ik toen al wist dat ik het liefst langer had willen blijven. Toen we eenmaal op de kamer kwamen was het uitzicht zó overweldigend dat ik tien minuten tijd nodig had om het op me in te laten werken. Het uitzicht, de heerlijke schone kamer, het ruime uitnodigende bed, de douche met heerlijke badproducten. Wat waren we dankbaar voor deze twee mensen en hun prachtige huis. Knysna is zó bijzonder, we hadden nog zeker een week kunnen blijven. Helaas moesten we verder , maar we komen terug. Het ontbijt gedekt op ons eigen balkon met het prachtige uitzicht zullen we nooit vergeten. Dank jullie wel, lieve twee. Jullie verstaan de kunst om gasten tot rust te brengen.

Paradise Found is indeed paradise with views to take your breath away.
Superior accommodation in all respects. Johann was very helpful with suggestions for activities and recommendations for eating. Booked us in a lovely restaurant first night, which we returned to second night. Would have loved to have stayed longer. First rate healthy breakfast too.

ottima scelta,bellissimma veduta,ambiente pulito e ristrutturato
vista meravigliosa sia dal balcone che dall'interno,,ubicato in zona residenziale con possibilita di fare ottime passeggiate ,senza timore alcuno.anche se tutte le strade sono in salita e senza marciapiedi, la struttura si trova nella parte collinare,il traffico è solo locale quindi minimo o nullo. L'appartamento è completamente arredato e rinnovato,bagno e letto comodo,ottimo wifi,

We had the apartment which included a small kitchen and lounge with panaromic views of the bay. Johan and Derkie were excellent hosts and were always on hand to help. Breakfast was served in our room each morning and was a healthy choice (not cooked) which was ideal for us. The location although highly elevated was only a R60 taxi to the Waterfront.

Beautiful location, with exceptional hosts
Our stay in Paradise Found was exceptional. The room is quite big, with a beautiful ensuite, and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious each morning we were there, and was served on a table on the terrace with an amazing view. Johan and Dirkie were incredible, kind hosts and offer advise and recommendations on what to do, restaurants etc, all which exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend staying there and will hopefully be back!

This extraordinary stay made its name come true
We had such a really nice stay. Our host was very polite and served a versatile, healthy and delicious breakfast at our own balcony. The view over the lagoon is extraordinary. Our host supported us in planning our trips and we had nice conversations. When I will be in Knysna the next time, I will try to stay again at this place where paradise can be found ;) Thanks for everything!

Great bed and breakfast with an amazing view :)
The location has large terraces with an amazing view. The hosts are very friendly and always prepared to support. The recommendations for restaurants and activities were great, so we could enjoy our stay in Knysna even more. We will for sure return to little paradise :)

Super liebe Vermieter, die einen sehr familiär aufgenommen haben und sich super um uns gekümmert haben. Toller Blick, tolles Frühstück, tolles Zimmer.

The balcony was incredible. Lovely touch to add Netflix to the room. Breakfast was wonderful- fruit, yogurt and boiled eggs- served on our balcony in the morning. The room had cooking facilities which was really great for drinks and tapas overlooking the bay. The owners are lovely people who made you feel at home there.

Wonderful stay
Johan as a host was exceptionally friendly and supportive and gave us a lot of help and good hints. He served us the breakfast on the private terrace - the view form the terrace towards the Knynsa heads is just breathtaking

A perfectly named property in every sense. Johan and Dirkie were delightful hosts and they were so very helpful and accommodating. The views from the property are fantastic, we had a great breakfast each morning and we would be delighted to stay there again whenever in the area!

World Class - Brilliant Views
The view and our hosts Johan and Dirkie was absolutely fantastic. We experienced professional service and the conversations with Johan was stimulating, intellectual and the topics ranged from Mountain biking to Strategic business management - Wow! His knowledge about the area and what to do, where to eat etc etc was valuable!

Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Apartment mit unbeschreiblichem Ausblick auf die Lagune. Nette Unterhaltung mit den Gastgebern und Frühstück auf dem eigenen Balkon. 100% Paradies....Danke und wir kommen wieder. Versprochen!

Die Besitzer Dirkie und Johan sind beide sehr nett, zuvorkommend und wirklich sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben ganz tolle Tipps von Ihnen bekommen und Sie haben sogar im Vorfeld unsere Restaurants gebucht ( wäre über Weihnachten schwer geworden etwas spontan zu finden). Wer mal Mountainbiken will, der ist dort 100% richtig. Der Blick über die Lagune ist toll und die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist super. Vielen Dank an euch beide und gerne wieder

Die Gastgeber sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren über die Weihnachtsfeiertage hier und der Besitzer Johann hat für uns sogar für jeden Abend sehr gute Restaurants reserviert. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist einfach traumhaft. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder

Die Unterkunft war superschön. Wir hatten einen Balkon und einen phantastischen Ausblick über Knysna auf das Meer und die Knysna Heads. Unsere Gastgeber Johan und Dirkie waren supernett und haben uns viele Tipps gegeben. Das sehr gute Frühstück wurde uns in unserem Zimmer (Appartement mit Küche) oder auf dem Balkon serviert. Die süßen Hunde unserer Gastgeber sind uns auch sehr ans Herz gewachsen. Wir werden sehr gern wiederkommen.

The owners Johan and Dirkie with their 2 dogs Georgie and Frekie are so welcoming, the best host we ever had on our 2 week vacation in South Africa. Breakfast was good and the privacy is just on point. Johan is so thoughtful that he booked us a reservation for dinner for 2 nights. I wish them well and hope to stay with this guesthouse again. ❤

Johan und Dirkie sind die perfekten Gastgeber. Unser Zimmer bot den traumhaften Blick über unsere Terrasse auf Knysna. Das bequeme Bett bot den gleichen Blick. Morgens wurde ein sehr gutes Frühstück serviert - bei gutem Wetter auch auf unserer Terrasse. Sehr zu empfehlen 👍!!!

We had the best time at the "Paradise Found" Guesthouse. Johann and his wife are really friendly and outstanding hosts. We loved the view from the room and breakfast served on our own balcony! There are tons of things to do in the area and the guesthouse is easily accessible. We got great personal recommendations from Johann and would love to come back one day!

Undoubtedly, this is one of the best guest house in Knysna and we enjoyed much! Located on the hill, therefore they have a breathtaking view of the lagoon. Especially, in the noon and morning, you can enjoy a wonderful view on the balcony. The hosts are very nice and helpful, you can ask for travel recommendations for attractions and restaurants. The room are big enough to stay and the balcony is just amazing! 克尼斯纳超棒的民宿，阳台上可以俯瞰潟湖，景色美不胜收。房间足够大且挺干净。房东乐于帮助，可以提供景点和餐厅的推荐。

Tolle Unterkunft, tolles Frühstück und eine atemberaubender Ausblick vom Balkon. Aber wirklich perfekt wurde es erst durch die gastfreundlichen Gastgeber Johan und Dirkie (inklusive der 3 süßen und gut erzogenen Hunde). Sie haben uns den Aufenthalt mit Rat und Tat rundum traumhaft gestaltet. An sonnigen Tagen servieren sie das Frühstück direkt auf dem eigenen Balkon. Aber auch an regnerischen Tagen ist das Frühstück super: dann servieren sie es an einer großen Tafel, die man sich mit den anderen Reisenden teilt. Es herrschte eine sehr schöne Stimmung an der Frühstückstafel und wir hatten sehr interessante Gespräche. Endlich kamen wir auch mal mit Südafrikanern ins Gespräch. Diese Unterkunft und die tollen Gastgeber Johan und Dirkie sind absolut zu empfehlen. Besser geht es einfach nicht! Unser absolutes Highlight auf unserem Roadtrip über die Gardenroute !

Denis and I have just had the most fabulous stay at Paradise Found. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a spectacular view over the lagoon from our private balcony. Most memorably the welcome, hospitality and guidance re local amenities shown by Johann and Dirkie was second to none. We were very sad to leave and will definitely return when we come back to South Africa.

Ons verblijf in Paradise Found was heerlijk. De kamer is ruim en mooi en heeft een onvergetelijk uitzicht op de lagune. Ontbijt wordt op het eigen terras geserveerd en is heel volledig en lekker. De uitbaters zijn heel vriendelijk en joviaal en geven alle uitleg die je wil, ook over goeie restaurants! We huurden hun mountainbikes en reden er een ganse dag mee rond in Knysna. Onvergetelijk! We komen zeker nog eens terug!

We zijn super ontvangen, hadden een heerlijk bed om in te slapen, konden ons wassen in een moderne badkamer en we hadden een super ontbijt met een prachtig uitzicht! We werden in de watten gelegd door Johan en Dirkie!

Johan und Dirkie waren wundervolle Gastgeber-man hat sich sofort sehr wohl gefühlt - Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet es mangelte an nichts. Die Aussicht auf Knysna war Weltklasse. Frühstück wurde direkt auf unsere Terrasse serviert-von super Kaffee über frisches Obst war alles dabei-sehr liebevoll! Johan stand jederzeit mit sehr guten Tips zur Seite-hat uns sogar angeboten vom Restaurant abzuholen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Lieben Dank Johan und Dirkie

Johann und seine Frau waren perfekte Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie haben uns mit vielen Tipps, Material über die Umgebung oder einer Restaurantreservierung geholfen und so unseren Aufenthalt zu einem Erlebnis gemacht. Die Suite bietet den perfekten Blick auf die Lagune. Selbst vom Bett aus ist es überwältigend. Netflix gibt es außerdem noch, braucht es bei der Aussicht aber eigentlich gar nicht.

Einfach alles war PRIMA! Die Aussicht, das Frühstück auf der Terrasse, das Zimmer und vor allem Johann und Dirkie!! Unglaublich viele Informationen erhalten, was man nicht alles unternehmen kann. Tipps für Restaurants erhalten, die super sind! ....und dann auch noch Unterstützung erhalten beim Reservieren... nochmals ein großes Dankeschön an Euch für die Zeit und die Gespräche, wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt und hoffen auf ein Wiedersehen!

A little accommodation gem overlooking Knysna Lagoon. Fantastic hosts Johan and Dirkie made us most welcome and provided much local information on places to visit and restaurants to eat in which was most helpful. Our room was fantastic overlooking the lagoon with an outside balcony where you could eat and take in the amazing views. The room was spotlessly clean. The continental style breakfast was fresh and plentiful which provided a great start to the day. There was ample parking and if we come back to South Africa we would be looking to come back to this little gem.

Paradise found is a gem of a property overlooking the lagoon. Our room had a balcony where you could eat outside and watch all that was going on in the lagoon. The hosts were wonderful and friendly and could not do enough for us. On arrival we were given info on the area and local restaurants which is great when you first arrive at a new location. The room was spotless and the breakfast was continental and extremely fresh and tasty. A gem in Knysna.

Amazing Stay!
We had the absolute most amazing Stay at Paradise Found. It felt like being at home, but with all the luxuries of being on holiday. Johan and Dirkie, is not only amazing hosts but could guide us to sights to see and places to visit.

Thank you for the nice attention for my 60th birthday and our 40y of marriage. With the wonderful from the terrace it tasted twice as good. Room and bed were comfortable. Excellent breakfast.

+ Das Paradise Found befindet sich auf einem Berghang und ist recht einfach von der N2 anzufahren. Wir konnten unser Fahrzeug auf dem geschlossenen und gesicherten Grundstück kostenfrei parken. Johann, der Inhaber des Gästehauses, empfing uns bei der Einfahrt und bereitete uns einen so positiven Empfang, wie man ihn selten erlebt. Er hat uns umfangreich beraten und ausführliche, zum großen Teil selbst erstellte informative Unterlagen, überreicht. Von unserem Balkon hatten wir einen phantastischen Blick auf die Bucht von Knysna. Das Inhaberehepaar war immer ansprechbar und konnte alle Fragen ausführlich beantworten. Toller Service. Bei schönem Wetter wurde unser Frühstück auf dem Balkon serviert, was wir als besonders angenehm empfanden. Eine wirkliche schöne Unterkunft mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr zu empfehlen.

- Es ist kein gravierender Punkt, doch sollte er erwähnt werden. Es wird ein umfangreiches Frühstück serviert, das sich allerdings jeden Tag wiederholt und als eher sehr gesund zu bezeichnen ist.

Excellent breakfast at the terrace with beautiful views of the Knysna Lagoon

Our room had a beautiful view of the Knysna Lagoon. The host Johan was very friendly and had a lot of good suggestions what to do in the area. An excellent breakfast was served at our terrace. We felt at home and would recommend other people to stay here.

This was our first 3 night stay in Knysna and we were so pleased that we chose Paradise Found! It certainly lives up to it's name as the views across the lagoons are breathtaking and completely unspoilt (i.e. no rooftops or obstacles!). The owners are simply wonderful hosts and are so helpful. Their Welcome Pack is the most informative we have ever seen and we put it to good use during our stay. We loved the privacy of a healthy delicious breakfast on our balcony each morning - including home made fresh bread and rolls!! The bed was very comfortable and the property is very peaceful so we slept well here, we felt very safe and secure at all times. The entire property was designed by the owners and they cleverly maximised the perfect lagoon views by fitting sliding patio doors to our room. You simply cannot get enough of the views so we enjoyed evening sunsets with wine on the balcony too! The support team was equally delightful and we would not hesitate to stay here again, but we'd advise to book early to avoid disappointment as it is a very reasonably priced, fabulous, in demand guest house. We were sad to leave! Thanks so much for making our stay so happily memorable! We hope to see you all again next year!

Jenny and Chris have a really nice house with an awesome view on the Knysna Lagoon. They are both very kind and courteous. The breakfast from Jenny is very good and you can enjoy the view from the balcony. Recommendable for everybody who wants to stay away from big hotels complexes and looking for a lovely private stay instead.

Lovely big room with THE best view you could possibly imagine from our private balcony where Jenny (the owner) served us with a lovely breakfast that she made specially to order. Jenny and her husband Chris were very helpful and friendly hosts and even supplied me with medical supplies for an injury I had sustained an hour before we arrived at the property.

Knysna has been the most beautiful of places from our entire honeymoon. Paradise Founds view is simply breathtaking which adds to the magic of the holidays. Jenny, the warmth and love on which you have created this place really shows the warmth within you. Thank you for sharing the paradise with us.

Where else can you get such views over the entire Knysna basin, coupled with comfortable, clean and inviting accommodation? It was a pleasure to sit on the patio and to watch the sunset over the lagoon, and an even greater one to see the views that early morning light began to reveal – from the warm comfort of one’s bed.

Want to see more detail in the lagoon’s goings-on, or take a closer look at the Heads? Well then, the binoculars are at hand to do just that. Want to know more? Pick up the folder and browse through it to learn – or ask Jenny, who can literally point out the places to visit for dining or for sight-seeing. All-in-all, Paradise Found was the highlight of our road-trip’s stays, and a must for the next one!
